Heritage and
Engineering

At Yachtyco, we oversee the design, construction and management of traditional wooden Phinisi ships, which range in length from 30 to 65 metres.

Our ships are meticulously crafted, using the most robust and finest sustainably-sourced Indonesian ironwood and teak.

The construction process embodies the traditional shipbuilding heritage of South Sulawesi craftsmanship, with cutting-edge, European luxury yacht technologies, equipment and design practices.

Discover Your World

We don’t build ships. We build bespoke settings where families can create intergenerational memories and enrich their lives in pristine and exquisite locations.

Everything we do is driven by the fundamental desire to create unique spaces and experiences where families and friends can enjoy a true sense of freedom, surrounded by nature, without compromising on comforts and lifestyle requirements.

Phinisi – not just a yacht.
It’s a work of living art crafted by the hands of the artisans.

Investing

Large family holidays are essential in Asian cultures and there’s growing demand for private luxury yacht charters for wealthy clients from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

Demand from domestic clients has been increasing steadily as well, and last year marked the first time when Indonesians made up the majority of the guests on some of the largest yachts available for charter.

The vastness and diversity of the Indonesian Archipelago offers year-round cruising possibilities and a plethora of unique destinations for chartering yachts. No off-season times mean higher than average occupancy rates and a healthy return on investment for the charter business, which is unparalleled with anywhere in the world:

Break even on operating expenses at 15% yearly occupancy rate
ROI of 30% per annum at 50% yearly occupancy rate
